Tinker Lab is a hands-on experiment zone where there is never only one
way to complete a task and where wrong answers do not exist. Wind power
was the focus on September 10th, where we built sail-powered land boats and experimented with a homemade hover board. The tinker lab project on September 24th
explored electricity with a banana-powered piano using a Makey-Makey and
potato-powered LED lights. We also explored Snap Circuits to build an
RC rover and flew a small indoor helicopter. Our October 8th program will feature hydroponic drip gardens, seed bombs, soda bottle ecosystems, and re-purposed milk carton watering cans.
